These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Vocatr across the website, mobile app builds, solo games, multiplayer rooms, groups, word sets, quiz sets, and related services.

Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using Vocatr, you agree to these terms and to comply with applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You may use Vocatr only if you are legally able to accept these terms. If local law requires parental or guardian consent for a minor to use online services, that consent must be obtained before use.
Accounts and authentication
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep login credentials secure, and are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
Vocatr may offer authentication through email login or third-party sign-in providers. When you use a third-party provider, that provider's own terms and privacy rules may also apply.
User-created content
You may create or submit content such as display names, room names, messages, reports, groups, word sets, quiz sets, questions, answers, and other shared materials. You retain ownership of content you create.
By submitting content to Vocatr, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit that content.
Gameplay rules and acceptable use
You may not use Vocatr, whether in solo or multiplayer modes, to harass others, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or harmful content, cheat, automate gameplay unfairly, scrape data, disrupt rooms, interfere with sockets or infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
We may remove content, mute features, reset room access or gameplay state, or suspend accounts if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary for safety, fairness, legal compliance, or service integrity.
AI-assisted features and credits
Vocatr may offer AI-assisted generation features for quiz or learning content. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for your use case, so you should review it before saving, sharing, or relying on it.
Some AI features may use credits, usage quotas, or similar limits shown in-product. Unless otherwise required by law, credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value. We may change, limit, or discontinue AI features or credit rules at any time.
Third-party services
Vocatr relies on third-party providers for services such as authentication, hosting, anti-abuse protection, social login, analytics, mobile platform delivery, and related infrastructure. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes caused by those providers.
Your use of third-party services through Vocatr may also be subject to the terms, privacy policies, and rules of those providers and of any app store or platform from which you install or access the app.
Intellectual property
The Vocatr service, software, branding, visual assets, and original platform materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights explicitly granted in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Vocatr for personal, lawful use. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the service except where law permits or we give written permission.
Availability and changes
We may update, modify, pause, remove, or replace any part of Vocatr, including rooms, datasets, AI tools, credit balances, rankings, or features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any feature will remain available forever.
We may make changes to improve gameplay, maintain security, comply with law, respond to abuse, or support technical operations.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vocatr is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, continuously available, or that user-created or AI-generated content will always be accurate or suitable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or access resulting from your use of or inability to use Vocatr.
Privacy, termination, and contact
Our handling of personal data is described in the Vocatr Privacy Policy. These terms do not limit any non-waivable consumer or data protection rights you may have under applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for abuse prevention, security, legal compliance, or serious violations of these terms.
